California Trucking Association Ranks Ventura Transfer Company Safest Carrier In California

Los Angeles, CA – October 23, 2007 — Ventura Transfer Company (VTC), a pioneer in the bulk transloading and distribution of products shipped throughout the United States, is the First Place recipient of the 2006 Fleet Safety Award from the California Trucking Association. The honor is awarded to the California carrier who has maintained the highest fleet safety record and most comprehensive safety programs throughout the year. CTA’s award winners pass a battery of tests and reviews that provide clear evidence of a commitment to safety on California’s highways. All California carriers with revenues over $10 million were considered.
