Ventura Transfer Company Hires Jim Cheney In Critical Role Of Safety And Compliance Manager

Los Angeles, CA – May 13, 2008 — Ventura Transfer Company (VTC), a leader in the transloading and distribution of bulk products shipped throughout the United States, today announced that they have hired Jim Cheney as Safety & Compliance Manager for the company.

Cheney’s primary role is to ensure the safety of all VTC team members as well as those who go in and out of the VTC terminals. Cheney is also responsible for ensuring that the company is fully compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
