May 2012 – Ventura Transfer Company participates in the yearly California Trucking Associations(CTA) Fleet Safety Awards. The Fleet Safety Awards, Fleet Safety Professional of the Year Award, and the Fleet Maintenance Professional of the Year Awards honor the outstanding men and women of trucking, and the companies which exemplify the highest degree of professionalism in the industry.

The purpose of the Fleet Safety awards is to recognize companies that reduce accidents by designing and running a top-notch safety program. An independent panel of judges, chosen from government agencies reviews the self audit results that are provided by the participating companies. The panel looks at how the company organizes its safety programs, as well as training, cheap ativan no prescription driver supervision, preventive maintenance, and the overall record of accident reduction. A field audit is then performed by CTA safety staff to insure the accuracy of all winning entries.

This Year Ventura Transfer Company was recognized for the Intermodal work that it does and took 3rd place in this division. Los Angeles, CA – September 28, 2009 — Ventura Transfer Company (VTC) (http://www.venturatransfer.com), a leader in the transloading and distribution of bulk products shipped throughout the United States, today announced that they won two top awards from the American Trucking Association (ATA) at the annual Safety and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition. The conference is attended by the top safety professionals of the nation’s top trucking companies and private fleets.

VTC was awarded First Place for safety in the Tank Truck/Local/Unlimited Miles category. VTC also took Second Place honors in Miscellaneous/Local/Unlimited Miles for outstanding safety in their Port intermodal and drayage operations.
