VENTURA TRANSFER COMPANY (VENTURA-LESBRO) JOINS AMERICAN TRUCKING
ASSOCIATIONS
Alexandria, VA - Ventura Transfer Company (Ventura-Lesbro)
has joined American Trucking Associations, the national trade association
for the trucking industry. Ventura Transfer Company is a bulk transporter
of plastics and liquid chemicals and a provider of intermodal, warehouse
and packaging services. The company is currently a member of the
California Trucking Association, which VTC CEO, Randall J. Clifford
is a past president.
ATA President Bill Graves welcomed the Associations’ newest
member and praised Ventura Transfer Company for its decision to
join the ranks of the leaders of the trucking industry. “Given
the compelling issues facing trucking, Ventura Transfer Company
and its industry counterparts have important roles to play not only
as advocates for a vital industry, but as representatives of the
ATA mission,” Graves said.
ATA is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry.
Through a federation of other trucking groups, industry-related
conferences, and its fifty affiliated state trucking associations,
ATA represents nearly 38,000 members covering every type of motor
carrier in the United States. ATA aggressively promotes highway
safety and security and represents the interests of more than 10
million people directly and indirectly employed by the trucking
industry before the White House, the U.S. Congress, the courts and
federal and state regulatory agencies. |
